Dr. Grace Loudon Meier, MD

Family Medicine Physician

Dr. Grace Loudon Meier is a Family Medicine Physician who joined the Clinic for Special Children in 2020. She specializes in the care of medically complex adults – leading the development of transitional and adult care programs for underserved Amish and Mennonite patients affected by rare genetic and select metabolic disorders, namely MSUD, PKU and GA1. Her research interests include the intersection of inborn errors of metabolism and obesity. Dr. Meier earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from Bryn Mawr College in 2012 and her medical degree from Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University in 2017. She completed her Family Medicine residency at Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health in 2020. Her connection to the Clinic began during residency through the Clinical Genomics area of concentration in 2017—a collaborative training program between the Clinic and LGH—where she was among the first participants.
